Muqadimah for the long hiatus

Isn't it so nice seeing your friend succeed in life? harahh harahh.

2015 was the year I gave my full short attention span to making a school magazine from scratch. I couldn't say it was sooo worth it but it does feel kind of great to see your design published on paper. Though it has been mended numerous time before the actual printing process begins and my masterpiece ends up horrible looking, it was fun. Fun indeed... Maybe. At the bright side, I got full access to everything-anywhere-anytime in school. That part I loved the most. Having to step aside from the throne of power made me realise how high a position as a Chief Editor really is. Starting the whole year, 2016, the year of the monkey, without that full access, is pretty lame. Ha.

Democratically, I got a new position to accommodate the new year. A position as class monitor for 5 Setia 2016. It maybe a new year but for us, this will be the last year we will label ourselves as high school students (also the year to sit for Sijil Penilaian Malaysia in November). Assistant wise, Anandh is such a dear. Obeying the laws of democracy where majority wins, he didn't get enough votes to be the class monitor and henceforth becomes my assistant. I think he enjoys it too much. He does EVERYTHING a class monitor would do just for fun.

Which is a little on the discomfort side. However, I had spoken about this matter to him that I don't think I will appreciate people calling me a lazybum when it's him that does everything voluntarily (and so gleefully!) each day, He said that it's fine don't worry I just like doing this You're great.  If that's how you want to think, I'll let you think that way. Easier for me. P/s: I'm doing most of the jobs now hahah. How irresponsible of me to let him do everything voluntarily. Alis please..

The first meeting with every class monitor and assistant class monitor (BAKTI) was boring. I have never in my 17 years of life attended such a dull meeting filled with kids that wants to follow their senior's footsteps in the pursuit of coolness and maturity. If the spirits of ancient great leaders came to visit that meeting, they would be less than happy. Why are these leaders so...tiny? If it isn't the spirits, it's me that wondered about their size. For a 15/16 years old student they're so small. I wish they consume more protein.

Throwback to the time 4 Azam was the the cleanest and cheerful class with the highest score ever recorded, 98% ha. It leaves one to wonder how does a class as sloppy as ours won this? Well, the answer is not at all hard.. we're just to cool to not win and I forced the living shit out of them to make sure their desk is trash-free. Hey, to study well is to study in a clean place eih? Jot that down in your mind. You can go anywhere being rich and smart but if your hygiene sucks, you might want to start cleaning up. It heals a stressful mind seeing a clean place and it looks pretty too. That picture was taken when I was the one in charge of the cleanliness only. Not the entire class. So, I got promoted this year,  class monitor, to be doomed in an organization as lame as BAKTI. I think that concludes the class monitor story. To Puan Hamsiah, I'll buy the BAKTIful tag later to satisfy your heart sigh.

That should be the end for the first post in 2016. I don't really have anything interesting much for now but I'm eager to share events that took place in my life in the past year. There was soooo many things I loves to type and show pictures that can carry my emotions up to the air or deep as the big blue sea. Till that time, enjoy your precious life as will I enjoy being me xo
